Timber Site Hoarding

Procter Fencing Systems can quickly and efficiently supply and install both timber hoardings and steel hoardings. By using Procter Fencing Systems for site hoarding, the contractor removes the risk of comeback on them from the client, plus we're able to survey the site, source the hoarding, then install it much quicker than the contractor normally could.

Our complete Hoarding Service

As part of our hoarding service, we can supply and install gates for pedestrian and vehicular access, vision panels, lighting and access controls - e.g. a keypad. We also offer next-day repairs for hoarding to ensure that risks to site personnel are kept to a minimum and site security is maintained.

When the building project is complete, we can dismantle and remove the site hoarding and even store it for the contractor ready for future use on another site.

The timber hoarding we use is normally made from plywood from FSC accredited sources. We also offer 'Smart Ply Plus' which is supplied with a pre-applied protective undercoat. This then reduces the time required for painting the site hoarding once it's been erected.

When it comes to height of the hoarding, the standard is 2.4 metres but we can easily supply and install hoardings which are higher than this and to the contractor's specification. This might include toppings such as barbed wire, 'dragon tail' effect toppings or even electric pulse fencing where a very high level of site security is required.

If the hoarding is going to be in place for an exceptionally long time or where there's an intention to reuse the hoarding, steel hoarding is often the better option. Steel hoardings can be supplied on demountable posts - this giving flexibility and ease of movement around the site - or, alternatively, fitted to fixed steel or timber posts. The hoarding panels and posts for steel hoarding can be pre-finished in the contractor's specified colour, and with a polyester powder coat applied over the top of a galvanised finish.
