Palisade Fencing

As palisade fencing suppliers, Procter Fencing Systems supply both the W section style of palisade fencing and the D section style, with the integrity of the palisade fence being maintained by the two horizontal rails that are used as standard in palisade fences up to three metres high.  However, we can supply other heights of palisade fencing as required.

Palisade swing gates to go with steel palisade security fencing are available in hinged and sliding styles with automation where required.  Designing, manufacturing and installing palisade gates is very  much a speciality of Procter Fencing Systems, and we have our own manufacturing facility to ensure the quality of palisade gates is very high.

This W section pales are secured as standard with 8mm shear-cone security bolts, with triple pointed security pales standard above 1.8m high, and with safe notched and rounded tops below that height.  Two horizontal rails are standard up to 3m with additional rails being fitted above that height to ensure the integrity of the fence.

A specific advantage that steel palisade fencing has in security terms is that it is difficult-to-impossible to climb, which therefore makes it ideal for premises where keeping intruders out is essential.

All Procter high security palisade fencing conforms to BS 1722 pt 12.

Choosing palisade fencing

When you choose palisade fencing, there are many options to consider to ensure you have the right specification to suit the security requirements and appearance of your premises.  Our experienced and knowledgeable staff will offer impartial advice to help you decide on:

• Head style - triple pointed and splayed is the most popular style
• Fence height
• The finish - galvanised and powder-coated options are available

Some of these options may be determined by your budget, others, such as the finish, are often based on the aesthetic appeal of the palisade fence and gate - something which can be important consideration for certain premises and in particular where visitors come to the site.

Advantages of W Palisade Fencing

While D section palisade fencing provides effective medium security, a W section palisade fence gives even more protection and greater resistance to attack.

For added security, we provide 8mm 'shearcone' security bolts as standard to all our W section palisade steel fences.

Specifications of Palisade Fencing (with High Security options)

Two horizontal rails are used as standard for palisade fences up to 3m, with additional rails being fitted above that height to ensure the integrity of the fence.

Triple pointed security pales are standard above 1.8m high, with safe notched and rounded tops below that height.  (Other profiles are available upon request.)

Posts are generally 102 x 44mm RSJ, increasing to 127 x 76mm for fences above 2.7m.

For the finish of Procter Palisade Fencing, it is galvanised to BS ES ISO 1461:2009 as standard, with an option to polyester coat in a range of standard colours.

Heights available for our palisade fencing are from 900mm to 4m.
