Vehicle Barriers
We supply and install corrugated beam vehicle restraining barriers on
steel RSJ posts suitable for all commercial and car park applications.
(Note that Procter do not install barriers on the highway.) Typically
the height of our vehicle restraining barriers is 760mm, with finish on
all steelwork hot-dip galvanised then polyester powder coated with
hazard stripes added where required. Vehicle barriers can be designed
to span openings up to 12m.

Automatic Traffic Barrier

Hoop BarriersProcter hooped barrers are formed from heavy duty round steel tube to
suit the application, and present a visually attractive appearance while
preventing vehicle passage. Available galvanised or with an additional
powder coated finish. Typical applications include garage forecourts,
car sales areas and retail parks. Height can be up to 600mm.

Road Blocker

BollardsFixed and lifting bollards are an excellent way to
supplement security and protect vulnerable areas - in particular
doorways which can be vulnerable to being rammed by a vehicle. When
rising bollards are used, we can also install a wide range of options
for access control, such as key switch or remote control and monitored
via CCTV. Anti-terrorist bollards can also be supplied.
Automatic Rising Arm BarriersWe install powered rising arm
barriers, complete with a full range of access control and safety
equipment, including, card readers, digipads, induction loops, infra-red
detection devices and radio controls etc. Typical applications are
where controlled vehicle access is needed to a site but the security
requirement isn't especially high - for example a staff car park or
college entrance. In addition, applications can be where the security
requirement is very high but also where the site entrance is permanently
manned.
