Technical Consultation and Site Survey
As one of the first stages in the very comprehensive service from Procter Fencing systems, our highly skilled and experienced technical team provide a free technical consultation and site survey for each individual fencing project, which may also include gates.
This crucial stage of a fencing project ensures that the most appropriate and cost-effective solution is proposed. This approach differs from some other fencing businesses because, as an independent company, we are not tied to a limited range of fencing materials and preferred methods of installation. So what we finally go on to propose as a result of the technical consultation and site survey really will be the best solution for our customer in all respects.
Although this may seem obvious, many fencing installations we see around the UK are inappropriate for the job - both over-specified and under-specified. Our experience over more than 70 years always ensures we understand the level security needed for a fencing project and therefore go on to recommend the optimum specification. This specification will have many elements which include:
i) Height of the fencing
ii) Gauge and type of posts
iii) Gauge and type of infill materials - e.g. palisade or mesh etc.
iv) Gauge and type of fixings
v) Other possible requirements such as barbed wire, razor wire or electric pulse fence
Proceeding with any fencing project of an appreciable size without a technical consultation and detailed site survey and from a business which will not take an entirely unbiased view, is a potentially risky strategy - both in terms of not ending up with the right specification of fencing and paying too much for the job.
By trusting Procter Fencing Systems with an initial technical consultation and site survey you can proceed with your project in complete confidence.
